The SMOK X Cube 2’s performance is nothing to brush aside, but what really shined was this device’s versatility (which we will explain in the ‘Features’ section). This mod can withstand a moderate ‘beating.’ And, it’s not just about beauty but about durability. The zinc alloy and stainless steel construction makes for a beautiful finish. However, aside from the firing button, the overall design and build is stellar.
You can even control the colour of the sidebar with SMOK’s mobile app. Some consider it very cool, others consider it over the top, unnecessary and tacky. When you fire it, the sidebar lights up, which many people are torn about. The SMOK X Cube 2’s entire ‘sidebar’ is the firing ‘button’ which makes it especially easy to vape on. Most mods have a smaller button to fire the device. However, what immediately stood out is the firing button, or should we say, firing bar. The truth is that the mod itself is nothing out of the ordinary aside from it being quite wide yet narrow which allows for a nice solid grip. Clearly, this kit was designed to attract a younger population. When we first got hold of the SMOK X Cube 2, we were quite surprised by the cool design.
